Hello! We are Tracy and Shallie, two sisters and the owners of Scently Delightful Candle Company. In early 2015, our love for crafting led us to the art of candle making, a hobby that we now cannot imagine our lives without. As full-time educators, we had to carve out time from our busy work schedules to accommodate our newfound love and passion. When we first began making candles, we only gave them as gifts to friends and family. They adored them, raving about their beauty and delightful scents. Their adoration eventually led to urging us to make our candles available for more people to enjoy. And thus, Scently Delightful Candle Company was born!
Our first collections featured a variety of themes, focusing on stories of travel and places, literature, and highlighting celebratory occasions and moments in life. But we quickly realized that it was our literary-themed candles that we struggled to keep on our shelves. Our customers couldn’t get enough of them, and so our focus eventually pivoted, and we now exclusively provide bookish scents. As teachers and avid readers, creating scents based on books is right up our alley!
